You don’t have to join a club to use them! No salesperson will call! But check out the Widget of the Month on the BML website: it’s displayed just below all the useful blue buttons on the main page.

Computer widgets are little bits of programming that enable you to do cool things. This month’s widget enables you to search Consumer Reports directly from the Library’s main page. Brooks library patrons have long had access to Consumer Reports through the General Onefile databases in the Resources section of the website; the widget just makes it handy and fun to search.

So grab your library card and try it out! When the system prompts you, type in the 14-digit number on the back of your card, and you’re in business.
